May 13th -After a couple week break, Kevin Sather and the K&S Racing Team headed to the Iowa State Fairgounds on Friday May 11th to debut their IMCA late model. The maiden voyage for the Masterbilt chassis was short lived with a heat race accident that cause the team not to start in the feature.

On May 12th, the team loaded up the open car and headed to the Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Missouri for the 6th Annual John Kuntz Memorial. It was a combine Lucas Oil MLRA Series and the MARS DIRTcar Series event which paid $3,000 to the winner. After finishing third place in his heat race, Sather would have a disappointing 18th place finish after getting a flat right rear tire.

This week the team will head to Cedar County Raceway for a Corn Belt Clash event on May 18th, and to the Stuart Speedway for a IMCA late model event.
